I support inclusive services for children, families and educators related to issues around child development and disabilities.  I specialize in providing individualized instruction, coaching, training and consultation around children’s specific needs.  I promote social development and successful learning experiences within daily routines.  I have strategies to address complex behavioral needs around delays around communication and social/emotional development.  I support social skills for children through successful practice and increasing the quality of their ability to participate in group activities.  I am able to complete functional behavior assessments and behavior plans around children who need specific instruction around coping and mental health needs.  I have received my Master trainer endorsement from the Oregon Registry Trainer Program in 2019. My strategies are geared towards and celebrate the differences of individual families from all cultural and other non-traditional beliefs, backgrounds and perspectives.

I have been a special educator in Oregon since 1999. I have worked in a variety of roles over the years from an evaluator, home visitor, instructor of toddler groups, blended preschools and special education preschool groups. I currently have been consulting to community and public preschool settings around the needs of children who learn differently. I have worked with people of all ages who have developmental disabilities in a variety of home, school and educational settings.
